I want to live in a world of miniature landscapes, radio controlled creatures, gushing blood and mountains of clay

Ekron Studio was started in 2008 as an puppet and stop motion studio, but has since then evolved. I create a wide variety of props and spfx for film productions in a wide range of teqniques and materials. Full masks, silicone prostetics and applications. Wounds, bloodwork and bodyparts. Maquettes and creature design. Puppets and miniature sets for Stop Motion animation.
Since 2017 I have designed and built Escape Rooms. I was artistic director for the overall concept, all the visual and creative details. I build props, mechanical and electronical puzzels.

I have a full metal and wood workshop with most tools and equipment I need to finish most projects. I have built my own vacuum former, polystyrene cutter and table saw.  I am equipped with a full Green screen, vacuum chamber, 3d-printer and a stop motion studio.

I have worked on short films, feature films, tv shows and music videos.

Since my early childhood I was very creative, I crafted stories, drew comics, created my own board games and built a puppet theater.

I knew early on that I wanted to be behind the scenes of filmmaking. I loved watching how things were made. Animatronics, puppets and stop motion. I sat on the floor watching behind the scenes footage of Gremlins, Robocop, Star Wars, Alien and old Harry Hausen movies. I was in awe.

In my high school years, I started to learn stop motion and Claymation and at the age of 19 I took on my first paid stop motion gig. A infomercial about dental hygiene for a local tv channel. I went on to become a decorative painter by trade and on my spare time I wrote stories and pursued the craft of animation, puppets and miniatures. After some years of full-time jobs and working every spare weekend and evening on everything else I decided to quit my job and pursue a career in stop motion instead. I went on to study to become a scriptwriter, started my studio and started to work on professional productions.

Since 2011 I have been writing on my first feature film in my spare time and I am currently in pre production. It will be a epic stop motion fantasy saga for grown ups. The working title is "The Silver Lining of Tragedy"
